Chutney Podi / Molagai Podi / Idly Podi

Chutney Podi

Podi” in most of the South Indian language means powder. Idly podi or Chutney Podi is a Chutney in the form of powder usually consumed with idlis and dosas and this powder is usually mixed with a little sesame oil before being eaten.
Growing up, I use to see my mother and grand mother prepare literally all the spice powders at home, be it Sambar powder or rasam powder. This is my grand mother’s recipe. Very quick and easy. If you think buying from a shop is easy, then you really got to try this quick recipe out makes it healthier and easier.
